Buckeyes will face No. 8 seed SMU Friday in Dallas
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State is one of the two No.1 seeds at ITA Indoor Team National Championship and will face No. 8-seed SMU Friday in Dallas.

The Buckeyes, ranked No. 2 in the most recent ITA Men's Tennis team rankings, earned the No. 1 seed in SMU's bracket after starting the 2026 season 7-0. Ohio State owns wins against No. 5 Texas, No. 1 Wake Forest and No. 1 Virginia in its last three matches.
The ITA Indoor Team National Championship opens Friday and will run through Feb. 17th in Dallas and Waco, Texas

The Buckeyes will face off against host SMU Friday at 1 p.m. ET. If Ohio State advances, the Buckeyes will face the winner of No. 4-seed Stanford and No. 5 seed Arizona State Saturday (1 p.m.).Â

Ohio State is a three-time ITA National Indoor Champion, winning in 2014, 2019 and 2024. Ohio State is 44-18 in the ITA National Indoor Championships.
