
Spring Schedule Set for the Buckeyes

Ohio State will host Big Ten Tournament in April
COLUMBUS, Ohio – In 2026, the Ohio State women's tennis team will host eight dual matches, along with serving as an ITA Kickoff Weekend site. Columbus will also be the home for the 2026 Big Ten Tournament.

After the Michigan Invite, an individual tournament, Jan. 16-18, the dual season starts with ITA Kickoff Weekend in Columbus. The Buckeyes will face Iowa in the first round, along with a match between Georgia Tech and UC Santa Barbara, Jan. 24. The first round winners and losers will meet Jan. 25, with the site winner advancing to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship Feb. 6-9 in Evanston and Champaign, Ill. Feb. 1, Ohio State will host Virginia in Columbus.

Feb. 13, the Buckeyes will take on NC State in the Ty Tucker Tennis Center before back to back road matches. Ohio State will play at Penn State Feb. 15 and then head to Oklahoma State Feb. 22.

Feb. 28 features a home match against Michigan State and Michigan will visit Columbus March 6. Over Spring Break, the Buckeyes will travel to California for three matches, beginning March 11 at Pepperdine before Big Ten contests at UCLA March 14 and USC March 15.

A three-match homestand follows, as Ohio State will face Duke in a nonconference match March 22 and then take on Big Ten foes Rutgers (March 27) and Maryland (March 29).

The Buckeyes' first five contests in April will be on the road, starting with a nonconference match at Michigan April 1. Trips to Nebraska (April 3), Iowa (April 5), Purdue (April 11) and Indiana (April 12) follow.

The regular season ends at home with matches against Oregon April 17 and Washington April 19.

Ohio State will host the Big Ten Tournament April 23-26.

Matches will be played indoors in the Ty Tucker Tennis Center and outside at the Auer Tennis Complex. Admission and parking are free for all regular season matches.
