Fielding, Shaw Earn Titles at Red Raider Open

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Six Buckeyes placed at the Red Raider Open Sunday with a pair of freshmen winning titles at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.

Brogan Fielding (141) and Maddox Shaw (149), both freshmen, won their respective weight classes. Fielding posted all four wins at the event by technical fall.

Shaw pinned his first three opponents on his way to a 5-0 record.

Another freshman, Dakota King (133), took second.

No. 2 Ohio State returns to action Friday on the road against No. 7 Minnesota (7 p.m./BTN) before heading to Lincoln, Nebraska, to take on the Huskers next Sunday (2 p.m./B1G+).
