
Emily Londot Joins Staff as Director of Player Development

The 2025 graduate wrapped up her collegiate career as one of the most decorated players in program history.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball program and head coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg announced the hiring of Emily Londot ('25) as the director of player development. Londot graduated as one of the most decorated players in program history, ranking second in career kills (2,228), second in career points (2,535), fifth in career block assists (397), seventh in career total blocks (422) and 10th in career digs (1,275). She was drafted 10th overall by the Omaha Supernovas in the 2024 PVF Draft.
"I am excited to bring in Emily Londot as our director of player development for the fall season," Oldenburg said. "Emily's knowledge of the game, conference and expectations of our program allows her to be a great resource for our current Buckeyes."
"Coming back to Ohio State in this new role is truly special," Londot said. "I'm so grateful for the chance to pour into the program that helped shape me, but now as the director of player development. I'm excited to support our players in all areas of their growth and to keep learning alongside such a talented coaching staff. It feels great to be home. Go Bucks!"
Londot was just the second player in program history to reach 2,000 career kills, 2,000 career points and 1,000 career digs. She was named AVCA National Freshman of the Year and AVCA Northeast Region Freshman of the Year in 2020. Londot went on to be named AVCA All-American Second Team in both 2020 and 2022 and received an honorable mention in 2021. The 2022 AVCA Northeast Region Player of the Year was named AVCA Northeast All-Region in each of her five seasons.
Londot was named 2020 Big Ten Freshman of the Year and to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team. She was a four-time All-Big Ten First Team selection (twice unanimous) and named to the All-Big Ten Second Team in 2021. She was also named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team four times. The eight-time Big Ten Player of the Week also earned AVCA National Player of the Week honors.
Londot excelled in the classroom, twice being named to the CSC Academic All-American Second Team (2023, 2024). She is also a four-time OSU Scholar Athlete and four-time Academic All-Big Ten selection. Londot was twice named CSC Academic All-District (2023, 2024) and is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Athlete (2021, 2024).
