COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State field hockey team (4-5) shut out Delaware (4-6), 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.

- The Buckeyes dominated the first quarter, taking eight shots and holding the Blue Hens to just one, but the teams were scoreless going into the second quarter.
- A little over four minutes into the second quarter, Loryn Jordon put the Buckeyes on the board, scoring her second goal of the season to give Ohio State a 1-0 lead. She was assisted by Lindsey Roberts.
- Makenna Webster found the back of the net 28 minutes into the game, extending the Buckeye lead, 2-0.
- A little under three and a half minutes into the third quarter, Raleigh Kerst tapped in a beautiful feed from Webster to give Ohio State a 3-0 lead over the Blue Hens.
- Webster was awarded a penalty shot a little over seven minutes into the third quarter and she scored, extending the Buckeye lead to 4-0.
- The Buckeyes held the Blue Hens off in the fourth quarter to come away with the 4-0 shutout victory.
