COLUMBUS, Ohio – Friday, the Ohio State men's and women's cross country teams will compete in the Gans Creek Classic hosted by Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

The Buckeyes will run in the Men's Black race at 9:15 a.m. ET, the Men's Open at 1:15 p.m. ET, the Women's Gold race at 10 a.m. ET and the Women's Open at 2 p.m. ET. The men will run an 8K and the women will race a 6K.

Missouri and the Gans Creek Cross Country Course will also host the 2025 NCAA Championships Nov. 22.

- Ohio State last competed Sept. 12 in the Spartan Invite/B1G Preview. The Buckeye men were third, led by a Top 10 finish from Kevin Agnew, while the women were sixth, with Katie Castelli first for the Scarlet and Gray and 16th overall
- For the women, Zoee Lehman, Teodora Iovi, Mia Robillard and Ana Karmol have been in the Buckeyes' top five finishers each of the first two races. On the men's side, Agnew was first in both races for Ohio State and Weston Day, Colby Adams and Noah Sharp were all counters at both Wright State and Michigan State.
- In the most recent Great Lakes Region rankings, the Buckeye women are sixth. Big Ten schools Michigan State (No. 2), Wisconsin (No. 3), and Michigan (No. 5) are in the Top 5.
- In the men's regional rankings, the Buckeyes are sixth. B1G school Wisconsin was No. 1, with Michigan State No. 4 and Michigan No. 5 ahead of the Buckeyes.
The Schedule Ahead
- The Buckeyes will close the regular season at Texas A&M Oct. 17.
- Michigan State will host the Big Ten Championships Oct. 3.
- The NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships will be held in Evansville, Ind., Nov. 14 and the NCAA Championships will be in Columbia, Mo., Nov. 22.
