
Borkovic Scores Twice, Adds Assist in 3-2 Win at Michigan State

Buckeyes remain on road, travel to Rutgers Sept. 26
- Marko Borkovic got things started for the second-consecutive match with a goal on a penalty kick in the 34', his third of the year and 13th career score. Borkovic drew the foul in the box to earn the PK for the Buckeyes.

- Michigan State tied it at 1-all on a goal by Peter Soudan in the 39'.
- The Spartans took the lead in the second half with a goal by Chimnosoh Okeke in the 60'.
- Freshman Aaron Hurge then tied it back up at 2-all with a score, his first as a Buckeye, from a Borkovic assist in the 66'.

- Borkovic, with his fourth of the season, then put the Buckeyes on top with a header off a cross from Hurge, to make it 3-2 in the 67'.

- Max Trejo was in goal for the Buckeyes against the Spartans. He faced 17 shots and recorded four saves. He improved to 4-2 on the year.
