COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 12 Ohio State field hockey team (3-3) is back in the win column after a 2-0 victory against Northeastern (3-2) on Sunday.

- The Buckeyes and the Huskies went scoreless in the first quarter, but Ohio State had a 6-0 lead in shots.
- Ohio State got on the board in the second quarter, taking a 1-0 lead after Makenna Webster scored on a feed from Lindsey Roberts with just about three minutes left to go in the half.
- Emily Barker scored her first goal of the season a little over three minutes into the third quarter to give the Buckeyes a 2-0 lead. Barker was assisted by Webster.
