Agnew leads men, Castelli paces women
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Friday morning, the Ohio State men's and women's cross country teams ran in the Spartan Invite/B1G Preview hosted by Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich. The Buckeye men were third, led by a Top 10 finish from Kevin Agnew, while the women were sixth, with Katie Castelli first for the Scarlet and Gray and 16th overall
Quoting head coach Sara Mason Vergote
"I'm really proud of our men's team. We are working on some things tactically and they raced incredibly tough. "On the women's side we held out Aniya Mosley and Audrey DeSantis due to illness and I'm confident once they are in the mix we will be as good or better than we were last year. Katie, Zoee, Teo and Mia all had really good summers and are considerably better than they were a year ago."
