- The 107,524 announced attendance marked the 12th largest crowd in Ohio Stadium historyÂ
- This was the fifth matchup between Ohio State and Texas, with the Buckeyes now leading the series 3-2.Â

- Defensively, cornerback Davison Igbinosun recorded a game-high and career-high 10 tackles. He also had one pass breakup.Â
- Arvell Reese made a career-high nine tackles and also recorded the first full sack of his career as well as his first pass breakup.Â
- Jermaine Matthews recorded an interception to end a Texas drive in the third quarter. The pick was Matthews' second of his career and the first since 2023.Â
- In the win, 18 different Buckeyes registered at least one tackle. Jaylen McClain and Kayden McDonald each finished with a career-high eight stops.
