COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men’s basketball head coach Jake Diebler has added German native Mathieu Grujicic and Wisconsin native Myles Herro to the 2025 recruiting class. Both players have joined the program this summer and will have four years of eligibility.
Grujicic played for FC Barcelona’s U18 team the last two seasons and earned a call up to the main team this past spring. In his final season with FC Barcelona’s U18 Team, he averaged 13.6 PPG, 2.7 RPG and 3.5 APG while shooting over 40 percent from three-point range. Grujicic was also named the MVP on four different occasions in one calendar year — at the Adidas Next Generation Tournament, NBA Basketball Without Borders Europe Camp, the U18 Spain Domestic Championship and Catalon Championships.
Herro is a Top 10 player in the state of Wisconsin according to 247Sports.com. He averaged 22 points, seven assists and five rebounds per game at Milwaukee Whitnall while being named first-team all-conference last season. He also dished-out over five assists per game in the Nike EYBL in the summer of 2024 for Team Herro.
Grujicic and Herro join Amare Bynum in the Buckeyes’ 2025 recruiting class.
