COLUMBUS, Ohio – Coming off a 19th consecutive Big Ten title, the Ohio State men’s tennis team has earned a No. 5 seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament and will host first and second round matches this weekend. The Buckeyes will open against Buffalo in the first round on Saturday afternoon while Auburn and Belmont will play in the other first round match on Saturday morning.

Belmont earned its spot by beating Cleveland State 4-3 in the Horizon League Championship on Sunday. Auburn is 19-10 on the year and lost to Texas 4-1 in the SEC Tournament.
Ohio State is 26-3 on the season, which included a perfect 13-0 in Big Ten play. That earned the Buckeyes a 19th consecutive Big Ten title and 22nd overall. The Buckeyes also advanced to the finals of the Big Ten Tournament for the 21st consecutive season. Ty Tucker was again named Big Ten Coach of the Year and Aidan Kim, Jack Anthrop and Alexander Bernard all earned first team All-Big Ten honors.
