Buckeyes Secure No. 3 Seed for NCAA Columbus Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 14 Ohio State women's golf team has secured the No. 3 for the NCAA Columbus Regional, announced on the selection show Wednesday afternoon.
The Buckeyes will host the regional at the OSU Scarlet Course from May 5-7. In regional play, six 54-hole regional competitions will be played to determine the participants in the championship finals. In each regional, 12 teams and six individuals not on those teams will compete. The low five teams and the individual not on those teams will advance to the finals. The NCAA Championships will be held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. May 17-21.
Ohio State has earned NCAA Regional berths in all four of head coach Lisa Strom's seasons at the helm. In 2024, the Buckeyes competed at the Bryan Regional, where they placed sixth.
Ohio State placed fourth at the Big Ten Championships last weekend with a 54-hole team score of 873 (+9). Junior Kary Hollenbaugh, who has won four individual titles this spring, tied for second place to earn a silver medal. She fired a 67 (-5) in the final round to finish with a score of 212 (-4).
