Ohio State is now 17-3 this spring
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 9-ranked Ohio State women's tennis team swept No. 24 Wisconsin, 4-0, Saturday inside the Ty Tucker Tennis Center in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes are now 17-3 on the year, with an 11-1 Big Ten record, including seven shutouts in B1G play. The Badgers are 16-4 overall and 9-3 in the Big Ten.    Â

The Buckeye duo of Sydni Ratliff and Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev kicked off the match with a 6-0 win on court three. The tandem of Audrey Spencer and Nao Nishino secured the doubles point with their 6-2 win on court two, bringing the Buckeyes to a 1-0 lead.

The Buckeyes secured the match with straight set singles wins from Ratliff, Nishino and Cau.

Ohio State will play its final regular season match against Minnesota at 11 a.m. Sunday. The three members of the Buckeye women's tennis Class of 2025 will be recognized before the match. The match is slated to play outside at the Auer Tennis Center. In the case of inclement weather, the match will be moved inside the Ty Tucker Tennis Center. Admission and parking are free.

- On court three, the duo of Sydni Ratliff and Sophia Cisse-Ignatiev posted a 6-0 win to start doubles.
- Audrey Spencer and Nao Nishino sealed the doubles point with a 6-2 victory on court two for a 1-0 Buckeye lead.
- Ratliff earned the first singles point when she prevailed 6-2, 6-3 on court three over Ekaterina Ivanova.
- Finishing her match soon after, Nishino secured a 6-2, 6-1 victory on court four. Her victory brought the Buckeyes to a 3-0 advantage.
- Alessia Cau concluded the match with a victory on court six. After narrowly winning the first set in a tiebreaker, she secured the 4-0 victory with a shutout in her second set.
