What They Said
Head coach Rustam Sharipov: "We had a great response after not qualifying as a team. We had great representation – Kameron Nelson earned two All-American honors and won a national championship and Parker Thackston also is an All-American. I'm happy that the individuals, especially the freshmen, had an opportunity to compete on this stage. Two freshmen made the finals on two events apiece, which is a great experience they can build off for the future."
