
Buckeyes Get Big Man Christoph Tilly from Santa Clara

Ohio State got one of the best big men in the portal in Santa Clara transfer Christoph Tilly.
The 7-0 Berlin, Germany native averaged 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists over his three seasons at Santa Clara, shooting over 55 percent from the floor in each of his last two seasons.
As a junior in 2024-25, he started 31 games and averaged 12.5 points and 4.9 rebounds while leading the WCC with a 55.4 shooting percentage. In November of 2023, he had 18 points against Oregon in the opening round of the Emerald Coast Classic and then seven points against Ohio State in the championship game.
Tilly has a load of international experience. He moved to Chile when he was young and learned the game. He then played for Alba Berlin and LOK Bernau of the Germany’s Pro B North League for two seasons in addition to the German U18 Team in the 2021 Euro Challengers Tournament.
Tilly has one season of eligibility remaining.
