2025 Big Ten Championships Pre-Seeds Announced

Mendez, Kharchla, D'Emilio and Feldman Earn Top 5 seeds
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The pre-seeds for the 2025 Big Ten Championships were announced by the conference office Wednesday in advance to the league tournament this weekend. Northwestern is the host to the 2025 event at Welsh Ryan Arena in Evanston, Illinois.Â
Action gets underway at 11 a.m. ET Saturday with the finals set for 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Jesse Mendez, a junior at 141 is seeded No. 2. He won both the Big Ten and NCAA championships in 2024.
Carson Kharchla, a graduate at 174, also is a No. 2 seed after posting an 11-1 record this season. He returned to the mat following an injury that kept him out of action the majority of last season and the early part of 2024-25.Â
Graduate Dylan D'Emilio (149) and redshirt sophomore Nick Feldman (HWT) both earned No. 4 seeds.Â
