COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13 men's swimming and diving team placed 16th at the NCAA Championships, which concluded on Saturday in Federal Way, Wash.
The Buckeyes finished with 78 total points, just two points behind 15th-place USC. Ohio State has finished in the top 20 at the NCAA Championships for six consecutive seasons.
Charlie Clark earned Honorable Mention All-American status in the 1650 free. He placed 15th with a time of 14:39.16.
Sam Campbell placed 21st in the 1650 free with a time of 14:50.68 and Mason Edmund placed 32nd with a time of 15:03.04.
The NCAA Championships concluded with the 400 free relay. The relay team of Tomas Navikonis, Daniel Baltes, Mario McDonald and Cornelius Jahn finished in 2:47.69. They placed 13th to earn Honorable Mention All-American honors.
Over the course of the NCAA Championships, 10 Buckeyes earned All-American recognition. Six Ohio State student-athletes earned All-American honors in more than one event.
