Peschel Named Second Team All-American

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's hockey junior defender Emma Peschel was named a 2024-25 CCM/AHCA Second Team All-American by the American Hockey Coaches Association Saturday
Peschel is in the Buckeyes' first defensive pair and leads the team with 41 blocked shots. The Edina, Minn. native has helped Ohio State hold opponents to 2.03 goals per game and under 19 shots. She is +28 in 39 games played this season.
The First Team All-WCHA honoree has 33 points on the year with seven goals and 26 assists. She is tied for the team lead with four points in a game, recording four assists in the 8-2 win at Bemidji State (Sept. 27). Peschel also has eight points on the power play and a shorthanded assist.
The All-America award is Peschel's first of her career and the fifth for the Buckeyes in the last four seasons.
