Sprague Finishes Season at NCAA Rifle Champiosnhips

Places 19th in the air rifle
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Gabriella Sprague capped off her freshman campaign at the 2025 NCAA Rifle Championships hosted by the University of Kentucky. Sprague fired an air rifle match score of 595 which placed her 19th in the 48-athlete field.
Coach Tanoue: "Ella has had a fantastic freshman season and her performance at the NCAA Championships showed the performance level that she is capable of against the very best in the country. Her performance at the championship showed a level of maturity not often seen in such a young athlete and it speaks to her hard work and dedication over the course of this past season and in her career thus far. She is off to an incredible start to her Ohio State career and it will exciting to see her progress through the offseason matches."
The Buckeyes finished the 2024-25 season ranked 13th nationally.
