The No. 11 women’s basketball team improved its record 20-1, and 9-1 in the Big Ten Conference, with a 10-point win over Washington yesterday on alumni day at Value City Arena.




The fencing programs closed out the regular season with the men going 9-0 to win the Schiller Duals at Northwestern in Evanston, Ill., and the women’s going 8-2. The weekend leaves the programs with season records of 28-5 and 24-8, respectively.

The men’s and women’s track & field teams produced 33 Top 5 finishes collectively at three meets this weekend: the PNC Lenny Lyles in Louisville, Ky., the Notre Dame Meyo in South Bend, Ind., and the Stan Scott Invite in Lubbock, Texas.

The No. 13 women’s swimming and diving team (6-1) and No. 14 men’s team (5-1) earned dominant victories over Pitt on Saturday.
The artistic swimming team hosted Stanford, Wheaton and Michigan in Saturday's Jessica Beck Memorial Invitational, finishing second with 80 points on the day.

The No. 5 men’s gymnastics team (8-1) fell to No. 1 Oklahoma (6-1) by a 322.900-316.300 margin inside the Covelli Center.



The fourth-ranked wrestling team improved to 12-1 on the season with a solid, 25-14, victory at No. 18 Michigan on Saturday.




The men’s basketball team’s (13-9 overall and 5-6 in the Big Ten) three-game week included wins over Iowa and Penn State (on the road) and a hard-fought setback at Illinois.




The No. 11 men’s hockey team’s Thursday-Friday series with No. 2 Michigan State resulted in a split of regulation wins, including a 4-2 Buckeye win on Thursday, that leaves the team’s records at 16-8-2 overall and 9-6-1 in the Big Ten.



Men’s lacrosse opened its season with a 19-13 loss Saturday at the Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.

The No. 16 women’s gymnastics team fell to No. 19 Michigan Friday evening at the Crisler Center, 196.600-196.025.


Men’s volleyball, ranked 13th nationally, is 3-5 on the year after hosting a power-packed weekend of teams and falling in four sets to both No. 6 USC and No. 3 UCLA.



The No. 3 men’s tennis (5-1) team hit the road for the first time this season and opened a big weekend with a solid 5-2 win over No. 5 Virginia in Charlottesville on Friday before falling, 4-3, at Wake Forest on Sunday.

No. 2 women’s hockey split a weekend series at Minnesota, leaving both teams in a tie for second in the WCHA with Ohio State’s records now 21-6-3 overall and 15-6-3 in the WCHA.
