COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State's Maddie Bogle, Grace Dixon, Sienna Golden, Ava Hershberger, Anne Marie Krebs and Erin Little were among the 282 student-athletes nationwide who earned Scholar of Distinction honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association last week.
Each student-athlete earned the award for achieving a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2024-25 academic year. They are six of 282 Division I field hockey players in the nation to receive this prestigious accolade. More than 40 honorees earned this distinction for the fourth consecutive year, including Little, who began her career at Boston University.
Four of Ohio State's six honorees from freshmen last fall: Bogle, Dixon, Golden and Hershberger. Krebs, a biology major, is now a two-time honoree while Little, also a biology major, has four honors to her credit.
