COLUMBUS, Ohio – A total of 43 Buckeyes represented Ohio State swimming at the Toyota U.S. Open in Austin, Texas Dec. 3-6. The Buckeyes collected four medals.

- In the 1500 free, Isaac Fleig placed fifth with a time of 15:22.71. Former Buckeye Charlie Clark came in eighth with a time of 15:36.42 and Mason Edmund came in 13th with a time of 15:54.70.
- Cornelius Jahn placed seventh in the B final of the 50 back, finishing in 25.80. In the C final, Joseph Roth (26.27) placed fourth and Cooper Burt (26.96) placed eighth.
- Jordi Vilchez placed eighth in the 400 free, finishing in 3:51.49. Clark finished third in the B final with a time of 3:53.13. Edmund was the winner of the C final with a time of 3:55.71 and Fleig placed second in the C final with a time of 3:56.15. Also in the C final, Gherman Prudnikau placed sixth, finishing in 3:59.62.
- Tristan Jankovics placed sixth in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.23. TJ Frost was the winner of the C final with a time of 2:03.11.
- Ahmed Ismail placed fifth in the B final of the 50 breast, touching at 27.86.
- Former Buckeye Hunter Armstrong finished sixth in the B final of the 50 free with a time of 22.35. In the C final, Rayburn Kohl (23.16) placed fourth, Ethan Reniewicki (23.81) placed sixth and Mason Francis (24.46) placed eighth.
- Matt Klinge finished fourth in the B final of the 100 fly with a time of 52.62 and Evan Fentress finished sixth in the B final with a time of 52.92. In the C final, Kohl (55.24) finished seventh and Burt (57.46) placed eighth.
- Jankovics tied for sixth in the 400 IM, finishing in 4:19.02. Frost was the winner of the C final with a time of 4:25.31.
- Ismail finished fifth in the B final of the 100 breast with a time of 1:01.47.
- Cornelius Jahn placed second in the B final of the 100 back with a time of 54.89. In the C final, Kohl placed fourth with a time of 56.95 and Burt placed seventh with a time of 58.10.
- Tomas Navikonis finished sixth in the 200 free with a time of 1:47.42. In the B final, Vilchez placed sixth with a time of 1:49.32 and in the C final, Frost placed seventh with a time of 1:54.93.
- Clark placed seventh in the 800 free with a time of 8:02.42. Fleig placed ninth with a time of 8:05.8, Frost placed 19th with a time of 8:27.12 and Prudnikau placed 20th with a time of 8:29.67.
- In the B final of the 50 fly, Klinge placed third with a time of 23.79 and Fentress tied for seventh with a time of 24.03. In the C final, Kohl placed third with a time of 24.73 and Reniewicki placed fifth with a time of 24.92.
- Jahn was the bronze medalist in the 200 back, finishing in 1:59.06.
- Jankovics placed eighth in the 200 back with a time of 2:01.16. In the B final, Krys Gorski finished fifth with a time of 2:00.99. Burt placed eighth in the C final with a time of 2:07.63.
- Luke Vickers placed second in the 200 breast C final, touching at 2:17.30.
- Navikonis finished sixth in the B final of the 100 free with a time of 49.36. Frost placed eighth in the C final with a time of 51.97.
- Vilchez placed sixth in the 200 fly with a time of 1:58.22. Edmund finished third in the B final with a time of 2:00.76.
Women's Meet Notes
- Mila Nikanorov won gold in the 1500 free with a program record time of 16:19.80. She breaks the previous record of 16:20.94 set by Molly Kowal in 2019.
- Emma Finlin won bronze in the 1500 free, finishing in 16:37.59. Adair Shaw placed fifth with a time of 16:52.57.
- KK LeBlanc placed sixth in the B final of the 50 back with a time of 29.03. Rachel Bockrath placed second in the C final with a time of 29.41.
- Nikanorov earned a fourth-place finish in the 400 free, touching at 4:11.91. In the B final, Sienna Angove (4:14.26) placed second and Adair Shaw (4:14.42) placed third. In the C final, Lucy Malys finished third with a time of 4:21.76.
- In the B final of the 200 IM, Paige Delma placed fourth with a time of 2:16.68 and Angove placed sixth with a time of 2:17.23. In the C final, Jessica Eden finished fourth with a time of 2:19.94.
- Maria Ramos tied for seventh place in the 50 breast, touching at 31.37. Buckeye alum Hannah Bach was the winner of the B final with a tine of 31.57. In the C final, Danika Varda finished fourth with a time of 33.15.
- In the 50 free B final, Bockrath (25.52) finished fourth. In the C final, LeBlanc (25.78) placed fourth and Carrie Furbee (26.13) placed sixth.
- Furbee placed second in the B final of the 100 fly with a time of 59.74. In the C final, LeBlanc placed fourth with a time of 1:01.20.
- Finlin placed eighth in the 400 IM, finishing in 4:53.49. Paige Delma was the winner of the B final with a time of 4:47.99. Also in the B final, Shaw placed third (4:53.15) and Eden (4:58.17) placed eighth.
- Ramos finished third in the B final of the 100 breast, touching the wall at 1:10.12. Bach finished sixth in the B final with a time of 1:10.79. Varda won the C final with a time of 1:11.43.
- In the B final of the 100 back, Delia Lloyd finished fifth with a time of 1:02.02 and Nika Sharafutdinova finished seventh with a time of 1:02.13. LeBlanc won the C final with a time of 1:02.12.
- Erin Little placed seventh in the 200 free, finishing in 2:00.97. In the B final, Angove finished seventh with a time of 2:01.75. Bockrath won the C final, finishing in 2:01.10. Shaw placed fifth in the C final with a time of 2:03.38.
- Nikanorov won her second gold medal of the week in the 800 free, placing first with a time of 8:34.38.
- Shaw (8:43.52) placed fourth and Finlin (8:44.59) placed fifth in the 800 free.
- In the B final of the 50 fly, Furbee finished fifth with a time of 27.15. Lorin Tobler (27.56) and LeBlanc (27.59) placed second and third, respectively, in the C final.
- Lloyd finished eighth in the 200 back, turning in a time of 2:16.27. In the B final, Shadee Montassier (2:16.55) placed sixth and Sharafutdinova placed eighth.
- In the B final of the 200 breast, Varda finished seventh with a time of 2:35.47. Delma was the winner of the C final, finishing in 2:35.02.
