
Buckeyes Earn Academic All-Big Ten Accolades

137 student-athletes recognized from fall sports
COLUMBUS, Ohio — This fall, 137 Ohio State student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten team, the Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday. In all, 1,845 student-athletes from across the conference were recognized from the seven fall sports.
The 137 honorees are the third-most in school history, behind last year's school record 147 and the 140 selections in 2021. The sports included are field hockey, football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Three Buckeyes were recognized for carrying perfect 4.0 grade-point averages – Jack Agnew and Will McGraw from the men's cross country team and Ava Bramblett from the women's soccer squad.
The Ohio State football team had a program-record 61 honorees, while women's soccer had 18. Field hockey was next with 16, followed by men's soccer with 12, women's
