When asked about the necessity of winning The Game:
“We just have to do what it takes to win the game, and everyone has to do their job. That’s the most important thing. Coaches and players, that’s the bottom line. Now what does it take? It takes a lot of things. We can list out all the things, but you have probably heard me say, what it takes to win these games over and over again, so I’m a broken record. But, if you win the turnover battle, our chances increase if winning the game. At the end of the day, the number one goal is to win the game.”
When asked how they are preparing for the cold weather on Saturday:
“We were out there today and the good thing is we have had that weather for the last couple of weeks, so it doesn’t affect us at all. It’s the same for both teams, and that’s what you expect this time of year, Big Ten football. I actually expected a little bit more weather here in November, but this is a group of guys that have played in this type of weather before, that’s just a distraction. The focus has to be on doing our job.”

On younger Caleb growing up hearing about OSU vs. TTUN:
"You always hear about Ohio State versus TTUN, when you're kids and then every year I watched football, this was the game. I definitely heard about it and always thought of it as like the biggest, if not one of the bigger games in college football, so it’s an honor to play here.”
On preparing for this week:
“We are just staying consistent. We’ve been talking about it all year, it doesn’t matter who we play, just go out there, prepare, and put yourselves in a position to play well on Saturday. We're just trying to prepare and put ourselves in the best position.”

On what they are thinking this week:
“I think the biggest message from Coach Day is just sticking to our routine, sticking to our mindset that we come into every game with. It's what we do and who we are. Obviously we respect the rivalry and you respect it at the game, we know how big it is, but I mean you can’t go into the game thinking about the stakes or what’s on the line. You got to go into the game, do what you do, trust your fundamentals, and trust your training then see what happens.”
On being consistent as a tackler
“I think we have practiced it a lot in practice this year. We're constantly practicing the fundamentals so just consistently trying to get better. I still got a lot of work to do, despite that I just have to keep working.
On him and Arvell working together:
“It’s been awesome. I think we feed off each other, he does a great job, he's physical, flys around, you see him off the edge. I think we just complement each other very well.”

On challenges for this game as a left tackle:
“As a left tackle, you protect the blind spot of the quarterback and this week being on the road, being on the silent count and with the rushers they have it is going to be a challenege for us up front."
On the weather this weekend:
“I love it. Cold, windy, snow, it is what it is, it’s going to be a challenge for us, and we are ready for it."
On this week compared to others:
“Yeah, there is a difference. We know who the team is but we are pretty much trying to keep it as routine as possible.”
