WCHA Names Dunne Forward of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's hockey junior forward Joy Dunne earned WCHA Forward of the Week honors for her play in last weekend's top five series, the conference announced Monday.
Dunne led the Buckeyes with five points, three goals and two assists in the series against then-ranked No. 5 Minnesota Duluth. She scored twice in the 3-1 game one win for her fourth multi-goal game of the season. The O'Fallon, Mo. native followed that up with a three-point performance in the 5-1 game two victory, scoring a goal and recording two assists.
Dunne leads the Buckeyes with 16 goals on the year and is third nationally. Her 1.30 goals per game is second nationally and first in the WCHA.
