- The Buckeyes extended their nation's best winning streak to 15 games with records of 11-0 overall and 8-0 in the Big Ten.Â
- With the win, Ohio State's series lead over Rutgers is now 11-0, going back to the first meeting between the programs in 2014. Day's record against the Scarlet Knights moves to 7-0.  Â
- Senior wide receiver David Adolph made the first start of his career and recorded a career high in both receptions and receiving yards with two catches for 23 yards.Â
- Tight end Max Klare brought in a 39-yard reception in the second quarter, the longest of his Ohio State career. The junior also recorded the second receiving touchdown of his Ohio State career in the third quarter on a one-yard reception from Julian Sayin. Â
- Brandon Innis recorded two receiving touchdowns in a season for the first time in his career after catching a seven-yard touchdown pass from Julian Sayin in the second quarter.Â
- Tight end Max Klare finished the game with a team-high seven receptions and 105 yards, both Ohio State career highs.Â
- Freshman running back Bo Jackson registered his fifth 100-yard rushing game this season as he had 110 yards on 19 carries. He had two rushing touchdowns for the first multi-touchdown game of his career. Â
- Running back James Peoples had 55 yards on just three carries. He had a career-long 49-yard TD run in the fourth quarter, marking the longest rush of his career. The touchdown was his third of the season and the fifth of his career. Â
- Sophomore quarterback Julian Sayin threw for 157 yards and added two passing touchdowns to bring his total for the season to 27,. He now stands 10th in program history for single season passing touchdowns. Â
- Caden Curry recorded his first forced fumble of the season, the third of his career, after stripping the Rutgers quarterback and recovering the ball on the Scarlet Knights' one-yard line in the third quarter. Curry finished with a team-high six tackles and two sacks. He now has 9.0 sacks on the season and 13.5 in his career.Â
- This was the seventh game this season the Ohio State defense held its opponent to less than 10 points. Â
- Today was the final regular season home game for Ohio State's esteemed Associate AD for Communications Jerry Emig, who is retiring in March. Â
