COLUMBUS, Ohio – Week in and week out, Buckeyes raise the standard of excellence set at Ohio State, whether that be in competition, in the classroom or in the community. 'Buckeye Spotlight' recognizes Buckeye student-athletes who had noteworthy accomplishments both in contests and beyond the box score.

- Redshirt sophomore guard Kennedy Cambridge made her impact felt off the bench this past week as Ohio State earned victories against No. 8/10 Maryland and RV/No. 25 Nebraska. Cambridge averaged 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 8-of-15 (.533) from the floor.
- Against the Terrapins, Cambridge scored a career-high 12 points and added a career-high four steals. She added five rebounds, three assists and made more than one three-pointer for the first time in her career. Cambridge made a three-pointer on an inbounds play with three minutes to play in the third quarter to give Ohio State its first lead of the game – a lead that would not be relinquished. She finished the game +20 in an eight-point decision (74-66).
- In Lincoln, Cambridge tallied eight points, three steals, two rebounds and a career-high two blocks. She shot 4-of-7 (.571) from the floor.
- This season, Cambridge is averaging 5.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.3 assists per game in 17.2 minutes per game.
- Chaplin was a double winner at the Tim Welsh Classic over the weekend.
- Chaplin placed first on the 1-meter with a score of 375.25 and won the 3-meter with a score of 383.60.
- Both of Chaplin's scores are NCAA Zones qualifiers.
- Guevara earned her first career event title in last Friday's meet vs. Michigan State, scoring a 9.900 to tie for first on floor.
- The freshman has scored a 9.900 in every meet this season for the Buckeyes.
- She leads the team on the event and ranks fifth in the Big Ten and 12th in the country.
- One of three Buckeyes to earn wins at No. 2 Iowa in Top 5 matchup in Iowa City
- Tied the match at 13-all with a 7-3 victory over No. 5 Patrick Kennedy in 174-pound battle
- Improved to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in Big Ten duals
- Will lead the No. 4 Buckeyes in dual at Michigan Saturday (2 p.m./BTN)
- Senior all-arounder Kameron Nelson earned two event wins at the Stanford Open to lead the Buckeyes to their highest team score of the season (323.000) and a team win against Stanford and Cal. He was named Big Ten Gymnast of the Week on Tuesday, his second weekly award of the season.
- Nelson began his day with a season-best 14.600 to win the floor competition – the highest floor score in the country this season. His second win of the meet came on vault as he tied his season-best 14.550 on the event. Nelson also contributed to the team score on rings.
- Nelson has won both the floor and vault titles at each of the Buckeyes' three meets this season. He leads the country on floor (14.050), ranks second on vault (14.400) and 10th in the all-around (77.100) this season.
- Micah Parrish led the Buckeyes to a pair of victories this past week by averaging 20.0 points and 6.5 rebounds while making 8-of-15 three-point attempts.
- Parrish and the Buckeyes won at No. 11 Purdue last Tuesday, erasing a 16-point deficit and snapping Purdue's 26-game home winning streak.
- Parrish scored a career-high 22 points and was a career-best 6-of-8 from long range.
- On Monday night vs. Iowa, Parrish again led the team with 18 points and six rebounds as the Buckeyes rolled past the Hawkeyes 82-65. Iowa came into the game averaging over 86 points per game and was held to a season-low in points and a season-worst shooting percentage.
- Keiser finished with a team individual record 599 in the air rifle while also posting the highest aggregate for the team with an 1180 as Ohio State competed against West Virginia and Morehead State.
- Keiser's program record 599 bested the previous mark fired by Rhiann Travis at the NCAA Qualifier in 2017.
- Keiser was second overall in the air rifle, 12th in smallbore and eighth in the aggregate scoring.
