Buckeyes Return to Indianapolis for Third Indoor Meet

Ohio State travels to the Indianapolis Fair Grounds again this Saturday to compete in the Crossroads of America Invitational.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team is set to return to the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Friday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 25 to compete in the Crossroads of America Invitational located in Indianapolis, Ind. The meet will be held at the Indiana Farmers Insurance Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Fans will be able to purchase nonrefundable tickets and parking for $10 each using the respective "Meet Central" links above. Shuttle service will not be available.
On Friday, the doors to the public open at 4:00 p.m. with women's weight throw being the first field event at 5:00 p.m. Track events will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the women's 60m hurdles trials.
On Saturday, doors open at 9:00 a.m. Track and field events each start at 11:00 a.m. with the women's shot put and women's 60m hurdles finals.

Recap of last week:
- The Buckeyes earned 28 top three finishes at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic throughout various events while claiming first place 10 times.
- Leah Bertrand placed first three times in women's events including the 60m first round (7.44), 60m finals (7.34) and the 200m (23.58).
- Both the men and women had the winning squad in the 4x400 relay.
- The men's team, made up of Edidiong Udo, Nick Robinson, Nick Biega and Nazzio John, finished with a time of 3:09.61.
- The women's A relay, filled by Fatouma Conde, Aniyah Brown, Sydney Bryant and Olivia Powell, finished with a time of 3:46.01.
- Brian Kellon has won individual events in back-to-back weeks. He placed first in the long jump with a distance of 7.29m/23-11.00 at the Rod McCravy Memorial. His second win came in the triple jump event at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic, where he registered a distance of 14.54m/47-08.50.
- Udo was named the Big Ten Male Freshman of the Week on Jan. 15 following a strong performance at the Rod McCravy Memorial. He participated in the men's 600m, placing first with a time of 1:16.77. Udo's time not only broke the meet record for the event but also landed him fourth on the all-time performers list for the men's 600m in Ohio State history.
