COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State graduate goaltender Amanda Thiele was named the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Goaltender of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Thiele backstopped the Buckeyes in both games of the road sweep at Minnesota Duluth last weekend. The Buckeyes' sweep of the Bulldogs in Duluth was the team's second in as many seasons and just the fourth in program history.

She finished the weekend with a .941 save percentage on the weekend to improve her season record to 11-4-2.

In game one, she stopped 19 of 20 shots to help her team earn a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. The Milford, Mich. native added 13 saves in the 2-1 game two Buckeye win.
