Emily Londot Named to Preseason All-Big Ten Team

Londot is selected to the preseason all-conference team for the fourth time in her career.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced its preseason all-conference team and coaches' poll on Thursday, prior to next week's media days. Graduate student Emily Londot was named to the Preseason All-Big Ten Team for the fourth time in her career following a dominant senior season in 2023.

Londot led the Big Ten in both kills/set (5.06) and points/set (5.51) last season, ranking fourth and sixth in the country, respectively. Among single-season program records, her kills/set ranked eighth and she was ninth in kills (546) and attacks (1,402), 10th in points/set and 14th in points (595.0). She also led the team with 267 digs. On Nov. 25, 2023, Londot had a career night with 36 kills (tied for fifth-most in a match in program history) and 39.5 points (tied for sixth-most in a match in program history).
After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Londot ranks among the top-20 in program history in five career categories. She's fourth in both kills (1,718) and points (1,939.5), tied for 12th in block assists (301), 16th in total blocks (320) and 20th in digs (960). She earned her fourth AVCA Northeast All-Region nod and was a unanimous selection for the All-Big Ten First Team. Londot excelled in the classroom as well, earning CSC Academic All-America Second Team honors and a spot on the Academic All-District Team in addition to being an OSU Scholar Athlete and an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
