Three Represent Buckeye Track & Field Program at Olympic Games

The Buckeyes will have three competing in the Paris Olympics, beginning this weekend, including one current student-athlete.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team will have three representatives at the 2024 Paris Olympics, which begin this weekend. Rising senior sprinter Leah Bertrand will represent Trinidad & Tobago in the 100m and 4x100m relay, while alumnus Duan Asemota will run the same two events for Canada. Sade Olatoye will compete in the hammer throw for Nigeria.
Women's 100m (Bertrand)
- Preliminary Round: Friday, August 2 at 4:35 a.m.
- First Round: Friday, August 2 at 5:50 a.m.
- Semifinal: Saturday, August 3 at 1:50 p.m.
- Final: Saturday, August 3 at 3:20 p.m.
Men's 100m (Asemota)
- Preliminary Round: Saturday, August 3 at 4:35 a.m.
- First Round: Saturday, August 3 at 5:45 a.m.
- Semifinal: Sunday, August 4 at 2 p.m.
- Final: Sunday, August 3 at 3:55 p.m.
Women's 4x100m relay (Bertrand)
- First Round: Thursday, August 8 at 5:10 a.m.
- Final: Friday, August 9 at 1:30 p.m.
Men's 4x100m relay (Asemota)
- First Round: Thursday, August 8 at 5:35 a.m.
- Final: Friday, August 9 at 1:45 p.m.
Women's Hammer Throw (Olatoye)
- Qualification: Sunday, August 4 at 4:20 a.m. for Group A and 5:45 a.m. for Group B
- Final: Tuesday, August 6 at 2 p.m.
