
Kirk Selected as a Finalist for Women’s Goalie of the Year Award

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's hockey goaltender Raygan Kirk was named one of three finalists for the 2024 Women's Goalie of the Year award, the Hockey Commissioners' Association announced Thursday.
A finalist for the WCHA's Goaltender of the Year award, Kirk has led the top-ranked Buckeyes with an 18-1-0 record this season. She has posted seven shutouts, including a 20-save performance in the team's 7-0 win at Minnesota (Jan. 12) and a 19-save outing in the Buckeyes' 3-0 win over Wisconsin (Nov. 17).
Kirk, a fifth-year senior from Ste. Anne, Manitoba native, was the WCHA's goaltending champion after finishing the regular season with a 1.02 goals against average against conference opponents. Her .962 goals against overall this season leads the country and she ranks fifth in save percentage (.949).
This year, Kirk was named the league' goaltender of the week five times, goaltender of the month twice and the national goaltender of the month in January. She also picked up her first All-WCHA award with Third Team honors this season.
