
Hodges Earns WCGA All-American Honors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's gymnast Ella Hodges earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) regular-season All-America status for the 2024 season, the organization announced Thursday.

Regular-season All-America awards are determined by final national qualifying scores (NQS). The top eight NQS (with ties) for each event and the all-around earn First Team honors. Second Team honors are for places nine to 16 (with ties).

Hodges is a Second Team honoree on floor. She is tied for 14th with an NQS of 9.950. The graduate student recorded a 9.900 or about in 10 of the Buckeyes' 12 meets this season. She tied her career-high 9.950 on six occasions.

Ohio State's 2024 season continues next week at the NCAA Michigan Regional. The Buckeyes compete in the second round of the National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championships Thursday, April 4 at 7 p.m.
