The Buckeyes will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament inside the Schottenstein Center.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The NCAA selected the No. 7/9 Ohio State women's basketball team (25-5, 16-2 B1G) as a #2 seed for the upcoming NCAA Tournament as the full bracket of teams was announced on Sunday night. The tournament will feature 68 total teams.
The Buckeyes will face #15 seed Maine in the first round with the day, time and TV network to be determined. #7 seed Duke and #10 seed Richmond will face each other in the other first round game.

- This is the Buckeyes' 14th time hosting at least one game of the NCAA Tournament and the second-consecutive year. This is the 15th time Ohio State has been selected as a top-four seed and its first time as a #2 seed since the 2010 NCAA Tournament.
- This is Ohio State's 28th NCAA Tournament appearance as the Buckeyes hold a 31-27 record in the NCAA Tournament. This record reflects wins from select seasons later vacated by the NCAA.
- Last season, Ohio State made its first Elite Eight appearance in 30 years. The #3 seeded Buckeyes defeated #14 James Madison in the first round by an 80-66 margin and #6 North Carolina in the second round by a 71-69 margin with both of those games taking place in Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center. OSU went on to beat #2 UConn by a 73-61 in the Sweet 16 in Seattle before falling short 84-74 against #1 Virginia Tech in the Elite Eight.
- Last week in the Big Ten Tournament, Ohio State fell to Maryland in the quarterfinals by an 82-61 margin.
- The Buckeyes hold a 25-5 overall record and a 16-2 conference record this season, clinching the program's league-leading 16th regular season championship and first outright title since the 2009-10 season.
- All session and single session tickets for the NCAA Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds will go on sale to the public at 11:00am ET on Monday, March 18, 2024 online HERE. All games will be played at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
