COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's hockey players Jocelyn Amos and Hannah Bilka were named players of the week in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), the conference announced Monday. Amos is the league's Rookie of the Week and Bilka is Forward of the Week.

Bilka led the Buckeyes, and the league, with six points on the weekend. She tallied four points in game one and added two in game two against Bemidji State. The Coppell, Texas native was one of 10 Buckeyes to score in Friday's game to help the team to a program record tying 11 goals. In Saturday's game, she assisted one of Ohio State's program record three shorthanded goals.

Bilka finished the weekend +6 and was on the ice for seven of the team's goals scored. The award is her first of the season. Â

Amos led league rookies with five points and three goals last weekend. She scored twice in Saturday's win, including one shorthanded goal. In game one, she tallied one goal and two assists.
