- Congratulations to the No. 1 women’s hockey team after winning the WCHA regular season title for the second consecutive year; this time, on home ice. The Buckeyes improved to 28-2 overall and 25-1 in the WCHA with a sweep over St. Thomas.

- Men’s tennis stayed unbeaten (12-0) and advanced to the finals of the ITA indoor national championships with wins over Alabama, Harvard and Virginia. The team plays TCU today and will try to win its third indoor national title.

- Baseball opened its season going 2-1 at the MLB Desert Invitational in Scottsdale, Ariz., including a 7-2 victory over BYU and a 5-2 victory over USC.
- A fourth consecutive dual meet victory by the women’s gymnastics team, over Iowa, improved the team’s record to 5-2 and 4-1 in the Big Ten.

- The men’s volleyball team swept Quincy back-to-back by 3-0 scores over the weekend to improve to 10-3 and 4-1 in the MIVA.
- The men’s golf team finished strong at the Puerto Rico Classic, closing with a 279 to finish ninth among 15 teams.
