Pineda Vazquez Claims Second Straight Diver of the Week Award

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Paola Pineda Vazquez has been named the Big Ten Diver of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
This is the second consecutive week Pineda Vazquez has earned Diver of the Week honors. She won both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives as the Buckeyes defeated Virginia Tech, 196-157. Pineda Vazquez scored a 337.05 on the 1-meter and a 356.70 on the 3-meter. Both are NCAA Zones qualifying scores.
The Buckeyes are back in action when they host Penn State for Senior Day on Friday, Nov. 8 at 3:00 p.m. Senior Day recognition will begin at 2:35 p.m.
