Jankovics Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Tristan Jankovics was named the Big Ten Swimmer of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Jankovics was instrumental in No. 12 Ohio State's 177-176 victor over No. 10 Virginia Tech last weekend. He became the second Buckeyes to record an NCAA B standard time this season, swimming a 3:47.43 in the 400 IM en route to a first-place finish.
Jankovics was also the winner of the 200 fly with a time of 1:47.45. He earned second-place finishes in both the 200 IM (1:46.77) and the 200 breast (1:58.88).
The Buckeyes are back in action when they host Penn State for Senior Day on Friday, Nov. 8 at 3:00 p.m. Senior Day recognition will begin at 2:35 p.m.
