COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore Joy Dunne of the Ohio State women's hockey team earned the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's Forward of the Week award, the conference announced Monday.

Dunne led WCHA players with five points in conference play last weekend in the Buckeyes' series at St. Thomas.

She recorded four points on two goals and two assists in Ohio State's 5-1 win over the Tommies Friday, scoring both the game-tying and game-winning goals. Her four points were the most in a game last weekend across the league.

In game two, the O'Fallon, Mo. native assisted the lone goal of the Buckeyes' 1-0 overtime win to sweep the series.

Dunne has recorded two four-point games in the last two weekends for the Buckeyes. She is currently on a seven-game point streak with 15 points in the stretch.

Through 15 games this season, Dunne is tied for the team lead with 11 goals and is second with 20 points on the year.
