
No. 14 Buckeyes Complete Sweep of Lindenwood with 3-2 Victory

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 14 Ohio State men's hockey team earned a 3-2 victory over Lindenwood on Saturday to sweep its series against the Lions and improve to 9-2-1 on the year.
The Short Story
Lindenwood opened scoring early in the first period, but Gunnarwolfe Fontaine scored on the power play later in the period to tie the score.
The Buckeyes took the lead in the second period after a goal from Sam Deckhut and the Lions tied things up once again a few minutes later. The game-winning goal was scored by Davis Burnside less than one minute later.
The teams went scoreless in the third period and Ohio State secured the sweep. Burnside had a two-point game (one goal, one assist) and seven other Buckeyes had one point in the game. Goalie Logan Terness made 26 saves.
