
Buckeyes Drop Physical Game at Texas A&M 78-64

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – In its first true road game of the season, No. 21 Ohio State dropped a physical battle with No. 23 Texas A&M 78-64.
This was the first loss of the season for the Buckeyes who are now 2-1 and head home for the next four games to finish the month.
Bruce Thornton led the way with 15 points and four assists while going 8-of-9 from the free throw line. Freshman John Mobley Jr. made three more three-pointers and had 13 points. Micah Parrish was the third Buckeye in double figures with 10 points. Devin Royal finished with four points and pulled-down a career-high nine rebounds.
There was a total of 45 fouls called between the two teams and 62 free throw attempts. The difference came at the line as A&M was 32-of-40 from the free throw stripe while the Buckeyes were 16-of-22.
The first half was sloppy both ways as neither team shot better than 24 percent in the first 20 minutes. Glover had a pair of threes in the first half to lead the Buckeyes as A&M held just a 31-22 edge at the break.
A&M scored the first six points of the second half to take control of the game. The lead ballooned to as much as 18 points and the Buckeyes were only able to get within 11 the rest of the way.

The Buckeyes return to Columbus and will play four consecutive home games to close out the month. The first of which will be on Tuesday night, Nov. 19 against Evansville. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed exclusively on BTN+.
