With its 31-7 victory, Ohio State's record improved to 9-1 on the season and 6-1 in Big Ten play.

This was the 80th matchup between Ohio State and Northwestern and the Buckeyes now hold an all-time record of 66-14-1.

Ohio State has won 11 consecutive games over Northwestern since the last loss coming 20 years ago.

When playing in a baseball stadium, Ohio State is now 20-1.

Quinshon Judkins finished the day with 76 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries on top of a catch for eight yards.

Judkins' two scores each came from a yard out giving Ohio State a score of 6-7, then 13-7. The second one was set up after a punt block from David Adolph.

Will Howard completed 15 of 24 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns.

Howard found Carnell Tate on both touchdowns, one for 25-yard and the other an eight-yard touchdown passes to put Ohio State up 20-7, then 27-7.

Outside of his touchdowns, Tate finished the day with four receptions for 52 yards.

Tate's two touchdown game is a career high.

Jeremiah Smith led the team in receiving yards for the 7th time this season after catching four passes for 100 yards.

This was also Smith's third 100-yard receiving game.

TreVeyon Henderson finished the day with 74 yards on 11 carries while catching two passes for an additional 19 yards.

Henderson now has 3,407 career rushing yards and is now 6th on the all-time list. He passed Chris "Beanie" Well, who had 3,382.

Jayden Fielding made a 28-yard field goal to give Ohio State a 31-7 lead.

Fielding made all four extra point attempts and is a perfect 48-for-48 on the season.

This was the 7th game this season where Ohio State's defense gave up one touchdown or less.

19 different Buckeyes registered at least one tackle, with Arvell Reese and Jack Sawyer each leading the team with seven.

Sawyer's seven tackles mark a single-game career high. He also recorded his fifth career forced fumble.

Davison Igbinosun picked up a fumble that was forced by Sawyer for his third career fumble recovery.

Cody Simon, Caleb Downs and Sonny Styles all recorded six tackles.

Styles had two sacks and two pass break-ups as well.

Simon now has crossed the 200-tackle mark with 202 total career tackles.
