Perecinsky Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Martin Perecinsky has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
This is the first career Big Ten award for Perecinsky, who helped the Buckeyes to a 173-127 victory over Penn State last week.
Perecinsky was the winner of the 200 back, turning in an NCAA B standard time of 1:43.53. Perecinsky placed fourth in the 200 free, touching the wall at 1:36.85.
The Buckeyes return to McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion next week when they host the Ohio State Fall Invitational Nov. 21-23.
