Flory, Roth Earn Big Ten Weekly Awards

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kylie Flory and Joseph Roth have earned weekly Big Ten awards, announced by the conference on Wednesday. Flory was named the Diver of the Week and Roth is the Freshman of the Week.
Flory and Roth were instrumental in the Buckeyes' 182-116 win over Denison last week. Flory was the winner of both the 1-meter and the 3-meter dives. She scored a 353.93 on the 1-meter and a 369.38 on the 3-meter. Both scores are NCAA Zones qualifying scores. This is the first career Big Ten weekly award for Flory.
Roth also captured his first career conference weekly award after a strong showing against the Big Red. He earned his first collegiate win, taking first place in the 50 back with a time of 23.40. He also earned a victory in the 100 back, touching the wall at 49.08.
The Buckeyes are back in action Friday, Nov. 1-Saturday, Nov. 2 with a dual meet at Virginia Tech.
