COLUMBUS, Ohio – Preliminary rounds of Ohio State's 2024 wrestle-offs will be held Tuesday, Oct. 22 with the finals scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Covelli Center.
Admission to the finals Thursday is free. The event will be streamed by B1G+. The Tuesday preliminary rounds will be streamed on the Ohio State Wrestling Facebook page starting at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Tom Ryan, now in his 19th season as head coach of the Buckeyes, said several wrestlers are preparing for the Clarion Open (Nov. 3), the first regular-season competition of 2024-25, and will not participate in wrestle-offs next week.
"Fans will notice a few key guys are being withheld from wrestle offs, but don't worry, it's just a staff decision," Ryan said. "Besides Nic Bouzakis, who will be in Albania competing at the World Championships, the others are doing well and for a variety of reasons we have chosen to keep their focus on preparation for the Clarion Open."
For the second-consecutive season, season tickets sold out for the Ohio State dual competitions at the Covelli Center. Single match and group tickets remain available. Click HERE for more information.
The Buckeyes open the dual season against the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Nov. 14 at the Covelli Center. Match time is set for 7 p.m. with B1G+ providing the live stream.
