
Fulmer Named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Amy Fulmer has been named the Big Ten Women's Swimmer of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
 
Fulmer helped propel the No. 6 Buckeyes to victory at the Tim Welsh Classic last weekend.
 
Fulmer was the winner of the 100 back, turning in an NCAA B standard time of 51.76.
 
She placed second in the 200 back, touching the wall at 1:54.41, which is an NCAA B cut.
 
Fulmer also recorded an NCAA B standard time in the 50 free, swimming the event in 22.30 to place third.
 
Fulmer was on the winning 200 free relay (1:27.65), 400 medley relay (3:30.38) and 400 free relay (3:31.80) teams that turned in automatic NCAA qualifying times. She was also on the first place 800 free relay (7:06.72) team and the second-place 200 medley relay (1:36.96) teams.
 
The Buckeyes are back in action on Friday, Feb. 2 when they host the Pitt Panthers at 3:00 p.m.
