Ohio State in Fourth Place After 36 Holes in Albuquerque

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's golf team is in fourth place after the first two rounds of the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational on Monday. The team carded a 296 (+8) in the first round and minus-three 285 in round two for a 36-hole total of 581 (+5).
Caley McGinty led the way for the Buckeyes, finishing the day tied for sixth place with a 36-hole score of 140 (-4). McGinty carded two under-par rounds, shooting 71 (-1) in the first round and 69 (-3) in the second round. She birdied eight holes over the course of the day and eagled one.
After carding a 74 (+2) in round one, Jillian Bourdage fired a 68 (-4) in the second round to finish the day with a total score of 142 (-2). She birdied eight holes through two rounds. Bourdage is tied for 13th place.
Faith Choi shot 74 (+2) in both rounds for a total score of 148 (+4) and is tied for 36th place.
Emily Hummer carded a 77 (+5) in round one and a 74 (+2) in round two. Hummer is tied for 50th place with a 36-hole score of 151 (+7).
Kailie Vongsaga shot 78 (+6) in the first round and 77 (+5) in the second round and is tied for 78th place.
Kavya Ajjarapu is competing as an individual. She carded rounds of 76 (+4) and 78 (+6) and is tied for 71st place.
The Buckeyes play the final round of the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, which will have a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. ET, on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
