Dakota Lyons
Dakota Lyons | Women’s Soccer | So. | Mettawa, Ill.
- Dakota Lyons scored the first goal of her career in the 2-2 tie at Montana last Sunday
- Her goal in the 26th minute was the first of the game for the Buckeyes and it pulled them back to level at 1-1
- The Mettawa, Ill., native has made 17 career appearances and now has a goal and an assist to her credit
Owen Sullivan
Owen Sullivan | Men’s Soccer | R-Senior | Dublin, Ohio
- One of four captains for the men’s soccer squad
- 30 career appearances with 27 starts
- Owns a goal and assist on 23 career shots from the defense
- Has played more than 2,500 career minutes
- Three-time OSU Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten honoree
Chelsea Thorpe
Chelsea Thorpe | Women's Volleyball | So. | Chicago, Ill.
- Thorpe made her collegiate debut this past weekend at the NKU Tournament and earned a spot on the all-tournament team for her efforts as the Buckeyes traveled back to Columbus with three wins
- Through three matches, she hit a team-best .472 (among those with more than five kills) and totaled 31 kills, averaging 2.82 kills per set to rank second on the team
- Thorpe totaled 16 kills in a five-set thriller against Bowling Green, the second-most in the match
- She notched nine kills and a .500 hitting percentage in the sweep of NKU and recorded six kills on 10 swings without an error (.600 hit percentage) in the sweep of ETSU
Deylen Vellios

- One of the four Buckeye men’s soccer captains
- Starts in 45 of 47 career appearances as a defender
- Owns three career assists in nearly 4,000 minutes of game action
- Three-time OSU Scholar Athlete and two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree
Makenna Webster
Makenna Webster | Field Hockey | Sr. | St. Louis, Mo.
- Webster had a team-high five points last weekend as the field hockey team started its season with a pair of wins over Lehigh and Lafayette
- She had a point in each game, notching an assist vs. Lehigh and two goals in a 4-1 win over Lafayette on Sunday.
- Webster was just one week removed from competing for Team USA ice hockey at the USA vs. Canada Collegiate Select series in Lake Placid, N.Y.
- She and the rest of her teammates play seven of their next nine games at home, beginning this weekend vs. New Hampshire (Friday), Bucknell (Sunday) and UC Davis (Monday)
