Ohio State Reveals Complete 2023-24 Schedule

Buckeyes begin B1G games in Ann Arbor Oct. 20-21

The Buckeyes' Big Ten schedule kicks off in Ann Arbor, where Ohio State will take on Michigan Oct. 20-21. A road series at Omaha follows Oct. 27-28.
Ohio State's first home B1G games will be Nov. 3-4 vs. Michigan State, followed by a road series at Notre Dame Nov. 10-11 in South Bend, Ind. The Scarlet and Gray will have a bye the next weekend before hosting Princeton in non-league games Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 24-25).
The final two series of 2023 are against Big Ten foes. The Buckeyes are slated to play at Wisconsin Dec. 1-2 in Madison, Wis., and will then host Minnesota Dec. 8-9.
Ohio State will return from its December break Dec. 30 to host Mercyhurst in Value City Arena. The last regular season nonconference games – and first contests of 2024 - are vs. Bowling Green. The teams will meet in Columbus Jan. 5 and in Bowling Green Jan. 6.
A home series vs. Notre Dame Jan. 12-13 marks the Buckeyes' return to B1G action. Two road series follow for the Scarlet and Gray, with trips to Minnesota Jan. 19-20 and Penn State Jan. 26-27.
The Buckeyes' first four games in February will be in Columbus, as Ohio State hosts Michigan Feb. 2-3 and Wisconsin Feb. 16-17, sandwiched around a bye weekend.
Ohio State will head to East Lansing, Mich., for two games against the Spartans Feb. 23-24. The regular season ends with a series in Columbus against Penn State.
The Big Ten Tournament will again be on campus sites. The No. 1 seed will receive a quarterfinal bye, with seeds Nos. 2-4 hosting No. 5-7 in best-of-three series March 8-10. The No. 1 seed and the highest remaining seed will host semifinals March 16 and the championship will be played at the highest remaining seed March 23.
The 2022-23 Buckeyes were 21-16-3 and finished third in the Big Ten with an 11-11-2-0-0-1 ledger. The squad earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament, posting an 8-1 win over Harvard in the opening round before a 4-1 loss to eventual national champion Quinnipiac in the regional final. Ohio State led the nation on the penalty kill (.887) and in shorthanded goals (10) and ranked in the Top 17 in scoring offense (3.28 goals per game), scoring defense (2.52 goals allowed per game) and power play (.218).
